Can you feel the button when you’re wearing the socks?
No – you don’t notice it at all. On the inside of the sock the button sits completely flat, so there’s nothing to rub against. We tested this part with the button a great deal to be sure it would never become a problem. We’ve tested it on riders wearing tight riding boots, and we’ve tested it in winter boots, in running shoes on a run and so on. Through all of those different conditions, our testers didn’t give the button a thought or have any trouble wearing our socks..
What is the button made of?
The button is made of plastic. We tried out different solutions, and we came to the conclusion that plastic is the material that handles all our tests best, and so doesn’t bother the wearer. In rare cases the buttons can trigger an allergic reaction in people with particularly sensitive skin, and in people with a plastic allergy.

Where our socks are made
SockiSocki socks are made at a family-owned factory in Turkey that has been handed down through generations. Six years ago we were given the chance to take a stake in that factory, so today we are part of the ownership. That combination means we can make the best, most uncompromising and most innovative socks on the market together, for feet all over the world. The factory is BSCI audited and holds FSC and OEKO-TEX certification
50% of The Socki Company is owned by one of the largest makers of underwear and socks in Denmark. That company produces roughly 8-10 million pairs of socks and 2-3 million pieces of underwear a year, mainly for large retail chains in the Scandinavian and German markets. So the expertise and the know-how run deep, and you are assured of a consistently high quality level and a great deal of knitting experience behind every pair.
All our socks are made to the EU standard for fit and size for men, women and children, which most of the retail trade in the EU follows.
Our bamboo socks are made of:
80% FSC certified bamboo viscose
17% polyamide
3% elastane
The packaging we ship your socks in is made from FSC certified recycled cardboard. All our socks are OEKO-TEX certified as well.
